The company was founded in 1989 with its main office located in Murcia, one of the most industrialised Regions in Spain.
SECOM has grown widely over the last few years, reaching a turnover of 29 million euros in 2007, and exporting to more than 40 countries all over the world.
The range of products is very wide: downlights, recessed lighting, track systems, surface and suspension fittings, spots, modular fluorescence, industrial and outdoor lighting.
SECOM is the market leader in the downlight range in Spain, Portugal and France, with a 2.5% market share throughout Europe and we are the first OEM customer for Philips PL Compact Fluo lamps in Europe. SECOM is also becoming well-known in other types of products

SECOM ILUMINACION has inaugurated new premises in 2005, with a total surface of 12.000 m2. In the new factory both production and storage are more efficient and the processes are fully automatic.
In 2008, we will be concentrating our efforts in enhancing our international activity and consolidating our distribution network all over the world. The SECOM brand name is already well known throughout all over Europe, Latin America, North Africa and Middle East.
