Steaua Electrica was founded in 1936. Our company, established in Fieni, was continously developed beginning the production of all components since the first year after its foundation. Now functioning as an integrated plant. Our assembly lines are very flexible, shown in the adaptability of the productive capacities to the requires of the market. Under Selum® and Selfi brand Steaua Electica S.A. exports a wide range of special incandescent lamps, our main markets being the West European countries.
AUTO LAMPS The often hectic traffic conditions of each day demand an efficient and reliable vehicle lighting. A modern car contains more than 30 sorts or different types of incandescent automotive lamps. Fortunately, a high degree of standardisation between most car manufacturers has already been reached. SELUM® offers one of the largest range of vehicle lamps, which are produced at a constant and strict quality level. Automotive lamps can be divided into headlight lamps, auxiliary exterior lamps, interior lamps and dashboard lamps. Auxiliary lamps are for example side, tail and parking lights, or direction, indicator, stop and fog lights. SELUM® also supplies traditional miniature tail lamps for bicycles and scooters. We also have a wide range of fuses. And last but not least, distance key lamps and fork lift lamps can be supplied.
Special mention deserve our Heavy Duty (HD) lamps, specially designed and produced for resistance to vibration and shocks, used to trucks, tractors, buses etc. (24V ranges). Another special range are our Long Life Lamps (LL), life hours are doubled compared to normal ranges. The automotive lamps are manufacturered to strict international standards and appropiately marketed in conformance with the E.C.E. Regulation No. 37. Most lamps bear the official approval mark E.
The lamps also reach the requirements of DIN and British Standards for automotive lamps. An ISO certification is available as well.
