Selçuk Group began production in the textile sector in 1989 with open-end processing combining an accumulation of knowledge in the field with quality. In a short period of time the company has reached a high production capacity in the Open-End sector producing 60 tons/day of 100% cotton and melange yarn. In 1995 company became a notable authority in the Turkey with the establishment of circular knitting production using a yarn following process with a capacity of 15 tons/day.
In 1999 the neccessary steps were taken to establish a dyeing facility and dyeing processing to complete the integration. With time and particularly with the addition of machinery required by modern technology, the company has became a sought after address in Europen and domestic markets for quality, finished fabric. Selçuk Dye, with a daily capacity of 15 tons, is preparing fabric for Europe's up - and - comming trademarks.
In 2001, to meet the demand for twisted yarn, a 7 tons/day spinnig facility was established the latest technology. In order to address the needs of every type of customer, In 2003 a 36.000 spindle, Ring yarn facility purchased. This facility produces carded combed and melange yarns at a capacity of 25 tons/day and included a fully equipped laboratory.
The last integration step was 2004 with the completion of a garment facility. This facility, now in its finished state, is moving forward succesfully in this sector, with on lines of garment processing and with the purchased of S&L Garment, which is exporting ready-made clothing for Europe's biggest trademarks.
Selçuk Group's investments are continuing. At the same time, in an effort to use its own enrgy, Selen energy was established and an investment in energy was begun. Selçuk Group, among the top 500 firms in the country provides a large contribution to the Turkish economy in the textile sector and employing 1000 people provides an important source of employment.
Selçuk Group's, quality and success has been further established by certificates it has recived from Europe. Today, exporting to America, Germany, England, Italy, Holland, Greece, Portugal, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria, Egypt and Syria, the name Selçuk Group has been heard throughout the world.
