TANATEX is your partner for innovative developments of finishes and coatings for all types of belts and ropes. In close co-operation with one of the world’s largest manufacturer of car safety systems, TANATEX developed a high performance coating for seatbelts. Seatbelts are estimated to reduce the overall risk for serious injuries in crashes by 60-70% and the risk for fatalities by about 45%. The coating of seatbelts plays an important role in the continuous effort to further reduce the risks. Especially the improved extraction- and retraction values are beneficial and reduce forces on body and equipment and ultimately leads to lighter safety systems as well.
Depending on the final use, TANATEX coatings will provide and improve a range of properties, which are essential for a top quality belt or rope.
