Founded at Guanzate (Como) in 1986, Techno began as a manufacturer of small and medium sized thermoplastic terminal blocks. These Techno technical items were mainly used in the electrical household appliance, automotive, electronic and electro technical, lighting and office machinery industries of several important national and international groups (Olivetti, Bitron, Elbi, and ITW-Elettrogibi). With a several decade strong experience in connectors and plastic injection moulding and with his entrepreneurs by the founder, Sandro Galli, Techno has been able to diversify its historic activity becoming today a specialist in designing and the realisation of innovative solutions, for electrical connections sector, having a high protection (up to IP68 – continual submersion).

Much attention is dedicated to innovative technical solutions and to raw material research most suitable to provide products characteristics of excellence. Quality Control personnel assure excellent quality by taking product dimensional controls, raw material analysis and mechanical tests on the injected moulded parts. Processing Quality is also Techno: fully designing and manufacturing items directly in the Guanzate (Italy) factory allows total control of the manufacturing process and guarantees effective answers.

The introduction of advanced Technologies (twin-injection moulding of plastics and rubbers) and innovative technical solutions (substitution of metallic parts with plastic parts able to carry out exactly the same function, patented high resistance hinges, screwless cable clamps) give the TEEfamily articles those distinctive elements that favour competitiveness of a customer’s solutions.

The care in the minimum details from the very beginning of the project (e.g. positioning of washers, tolerances, clamping forces, tamper safe) guarantees the product to be robust and the functionality over time reducing the risk of malfunction and thus avoiding costly maintenance interventions. The TEEfamily range are made from first quality raw materials having UL yellow card of in flammability V0-V1-V2 in conformity to UL94.
Functionability and simple installation … is time savings
The TEEfamily range is compact, simple and quick to install. Characterised by intuitive and functional wiring and connections (e.g. quick male-female connections, screwless cable clamps, interchangeable terminals, etc.), the range provides considerable savings in time during installation. Wiring times are halved but safety and reliability increase.

All items of the TEEfamily line have been patented, approved and certified by the principal international Approval authorities (CE, IMQ, VDE, ENEC).
