It all began with a technical plant for fittings, named TFA, which was founded by Heinz Dostmann in November 1964 in Wertheim. The company mainly produced "Six-Thermometers" which are also known as "Maxima-Minima-Thermometers". These thermometers determine the highest and lowest temperature during a certain period of time. TFA started with 6 employees only. Since then the company had to change their site several times as it continued to enlarge its product range. Today TFA Dostmann Ltd. is one of the most competitive enterprises in the range of barometers and thermometers. Our 110 employees fill more than 50.000 orders each year. At the same time 7 million products are sent to customers in 65 countries. This results in an export percentage of almost 50%. And the company still continues to be in expansion
