As a private institute for polymer materials research the TITK practices research in close cooperation with the industry. By order of industrial partners circa 130 scientists and technicians work on about 12.000 square metres at the imptovement of properties, the functionalising of polymer materials and the optimisation of methods and processes.
As a member in many networks with national and international carriers of knowledge and representatives of the industry, the TITK acts as an intermediator between different branches of trade for innovative solutions of applied problems.
