KNX Stack RF
KNX-RF (Radio Frequency) is the wireless alternative in KNX standard. It also enables mixed installations of wireless and wired subscribers.
Both, the KNX specification as well as our implementation differ between unidirectional devices that send only, and bidirectional devices. The KNX RF stack provides a minimalistic operating system for KNX-RF devices. It contains not only the pure communication stack, but is a complete implementation of standardized device models.
The bidirectional implementation includes, apart from the transmitter, also a receiving section and a complete communication stack. It also comes with the linking mechanism for the KNX Easy Push Button Mode. With this mode, especially small installations can be simple put in operation.
The powerful architecture results in a very low-cost equipment design. For entry into the development, we offer a modular development board for various microcontrollers (eg MSP430, PIC24F, ...) and radio transceivers (eg CC1101, Si4431, ..). Similarly, both reference designs as well as radio stations are available. In addition, we offer special KNX-RF devices such as USB flash drive or a KNX TP / RF gateway.
The KNX RF stack is modular and well documented, the source code is available too. We can advise on system design and support you in your development to the antenna design.
