Zipper

YKK produces a vast range of zippers suitable for every application from the world´s flattest zipper for high fashion to waterproof and airtight zipper for survival applications. Whatever your needs, YKKcan supply the fastening solution. Basically there are three different types of zippers: metal zipper, coil zipper and Vislon® zipper made from Polyacetal resin which is injection moulded onto tape. All zippers are available in different features, sizes, functions, materials, in 578 standard colours plus special colours.

Since 1993 our fasteners are specialized in suitable DIN norms. YKK develops and manufactures worldwide over 2 mill. kilometres of zipper each year. With this annual amount of output it can be wrapped around the earth about 50 times.

Hook & Loop

Cosmolon is YKK's most popular brand of Hook & Loop Fastening System. Cosmolon is available in widths starting from 10mm in a range of colours. Special colours and features can be made upon request. A very versatile and simple closure with a vast range of applications from clothing and accessories to industrial, automotive and aerospace.

Textile Products

YKK supplies a variety of tapes and cords for sports, luggage and clothing, and other industrial applications. The range of textile products includes standard and elastic tapes and cords and many kinds of compounded products like plastic on tape. We deliver tapes and cords in a variety of colours and widths.
